Our new video on networked geothermal is LIVE!
We’re excited to share our new short video introducing networked geothermal as an energy solution in Vermont.
Created in collaboration with Vermont- and New England-based artists, this video begins where the Vermont Community Thermal Networks started: with a vision of Vermont achieving its 2030 climate goals with networked geothermal as one of our clean energy solutions.
In this video, “Geothermal for Vermont” refers to networked systems more than individual buildings. Through narration and illustrations, it offers a brief introduction to the what and why of geothermal and other kinds of thermal energy networks. We also try to help Vermonters imagine what those systems might look like in our communities.
We hope this video will be a resource and a springboard for further learning, discussion, and creativity around how geothermal and other kinds of Thermal Energy Networks can be put to work in Vermont. Whether you’re an engineer, a community leader, a student, or an interested community member, share your questions with us and get involved with our work to make this solution—and our clean energy future—a reality here in Vermont.
This video was created with support from the Energy Action Network and members of the Thermal Energy Network Team. Thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life!
